Last year, the Chinese multinational company, ZTE came up with a medium budget smartphone, the Blade A2 at a price of USD 106 followed by Blade A2 plus in September 2016.

After receiving an amazing response from the users, ZTE has decided to launch another smartphone to add in this series, the Blade A2S. Priced at CNY700 (around Rs 6800), the ZTE Blade A2S will come with a larger display and more RAM.This smartphone is now available in China at JD.com.

Let us have a look at its specifications first. The Blade A2S comes with a 5.2” full HD display and a resolution of 1080X1920 pixels with a pixel density of 423ppi. The phone is integrated with a 1.3 GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6753 chipset.The processor is mated with a Mali T860 GPU. In addition to that, it has 3GB of RAM and 32Gb internal memory.

Talking about the camera, it comes with a 13MP rear camera that supports HDR, PDAF and Panorama modes. The rear cam is equipped with a led flash just below it. It has a 5MP front cam with f/2.2 aperture. There is a finger print sensor integrated on the backside of the device. It also has a 2,540 mAh non-removable battery that gives 12hours of continuous backup.Going through the connectivity options, the device has a 3.5mm audio jack, a micro USB port and Voice over LTE(VoLTE) for faster data speed.

Now let us move to the design aspects of the ZTE Blade A2S.There were no drastic changes to be seen as compared to its predecessor.It comes with a metal unibody and there is no physical home button at the front.There is a power button present at the right edge of the device and a volume control on the left edge.You can easily see the classy ZTE logo just below the finger print sensor. There is only one colour option available for the smartphone that is in “Deep gray”.The device weighs around 0.138kgs and has a dimension of 146.1 mm X 72.65mm X 7.5mm. The ZTE Blade A2S is available only in China at present and it yet to enter the global market.
