Xiaomi’s Redmi phones have been a huge hit for the Chinese phone maker since their introduction in India. That’s because the phones not only offer a host of specification options, they are also priced competitively. However, with its limited stock, one had to wait for the flash sale to happen in order to purchase one. But, if you are looking for the Xiaomi Redmi 4 powered by 4GB RAM, you can have one right away for Rs 10,999. It is available through the official website, Mi.com as well as Amazon.
Apart from the 4GB RAM, the Redmi 4’s top-end variant sports Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 SoC processor and a massive 4,100mAh battery. This battery is claimed to offer two days of run time with heavy usage and over 18 days of standby time.
Unlike most smartphones that are performance powerhouses, the Redmi 4 is pretty handy with only a 5-inch display size. It is a full HD one with 1280X720 pixels. The display also has a Night as well as Reading modes.
Although the camera options may not be at par with its rivals in a similar price bracket, the Redmi 4 still clicks reasonable images.
The 13MP single rear camera has a five element lens with an aperture of f/2.0. It also features PDAF, low light enhancement, HDR, Panorama, Burst Mode, Facial Recognition and Real-Time Filters. The front camera is a 5MP one with f/2.2 aperture and similar feature list for appreciable selfies.
