Every now and then Xiaomi is in the news due to its devices, sometimes for the new ones while sometimes for the old ones. This buzz is somehow related to one of the smartphones, which was released in India last month named Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. This smartphone was rolled out a few months back only and now on Weibo through GizmoChina a set of this device’s images were revealed.
Surprisingly, the images reveal a new story to narrate. The images appear to be of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, but of a modified version. This has raised many eyes speculating that the Beijing headquartered Chinese company might be planning to unravel another version of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 with modified features. Amazingly, the look of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has a striking resemblance to the Apple iPhone X.
The image highlights its bezel-free appearance with the front camera arrangement imitating the look of iPhone X. In fact, technically it is not bezel-less, but have a very slim bottom bezel. Furthermore, one can also mark from the leaked images on Weibo that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s seems to be donning selfie camera replicating the TrueDepth camera of iPhone X from the Apple.
It is not just the front camera placement that has similarity to Apple iPhone X, but also the upper bezel, which features a u-shaped cutout that will remind users of iPhone X. The best thing is that it seems the upper bezel will provide the information regarding the status of the battery and the strength of the network.

15 days agoMany experts have a different say on the round shaped cutouts that it might not work appropriately with many Android applications. Most of the apps fail to use the upper part of the screen, thereby leaving the entire screen. For resolving this challenge, customized apps need to be developed. As far as Xiaomi is concerned, the company has not officially stated anything with respect to the existence of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s new version. Still, if this buzz turns to be true, it will be a boon for users.
