Xiaomi Mi 6C With Full Screen, 18:9 Aspect Ratio To Launch In December

With the last release of Redmi Y1, Xiaomi is all set to roll out its most awaited Redmi Note 5 devices by the next month. Carrying forward the legacy of Redmi Note 4, the Redmi Note 5 is rumored to be cost-effective. Furthermore, the buzz in the smartphone world is that Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will be getting launched before November 11.

Interestingly, the Chinese manufacturer is also ready to unveil Xiaomi Mi 6C, the successor of Xiaomi Mi 5C. The Mi 5C was released this year itself and was the company’s initiation to come up with an in-house processor. The first chipset was named Surge S1 and now the second one on which the Mi 6C will run is said to be called Surge S2. The feedback from the users was quite positive of Octa-core Surge S1 processor, which made the company land in the elite league of smartphone companies.

Mi 6C is expected to be a full-screen edition from the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi. The display is expected to be about 5.65-inch with the aspect ratio of 18:9 matching the trend. There is a chance that the smartphone could be launched with the name Mi 6X. All the information is suggested from the Chinese publication mydrivers.com. The chances are high that the device will be featuring the design as alluring as the Mi6. Most probably it will have a curved edge look with a 2.5D curved glass on both the sides.

Keeping track with its recent concentration on the Youth, this phone is also going to sport high-quality camera. Perhaps not surprisingly, it may comprise of a primary camera with 12MP Sony IMX386 carrying primary CMOS sensor and a secondary camera of 5MP. The dual camera setup is going to give a stiff challenge to other cameras of the same league. Strikingly, this will be released in India in two variants. The first one will be 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space and the second will be 6GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity.

Now, the time will only tell how much of these features will be present in the Xiaomi Mi 6C and whether these attributes will help the company to woo the users. To a certain extent, this will also depend upon the price range of the model.
