The news about Whatsapp for Business was announced by the official WhatsApp’s FAQ page. According to it, this new service will allow the users to discuss, ask questions, get technical support, resolve queries and lot more. Whatsapp for Business will be very beneficial for the organizations to keep their employees updated with numerous information such a scheduled meetings, upcoming events
WABetaInfo, a well-known tipster in the web world had leaked this information about the services Whatsapp for Business was going to offer even before the official news came from the official FAQ’s page.
WaBetaInfo also informed that there will be several restrictions while using this service.WhatsApp for Business will require its users to mention their email id, organization’s website, the official name of the user and complete business profile before using this service. Also, special measures have been taken to prevent spamming and unwanted promotions.
Just like the official Instagram pages, the WhatsApp business accounts will also carry a special badge next to the profile of the business users. As of now, the users need to get their profile registered for the pilot program to access this service. Another amazing feature of the WhatsApp business is that it will allow its users to set hours of availability and “On leave” messages for better management of important conversations.
It was also announced that organizations with more than one website will have a “Show more” option and it will provide all the details about the websites, hours of working, opening and closing time, location etc.
Notably, the social media giant introduced ‘colourful status’ update for its users and there have been reports that it is working on its UPI payment service.
