Ever since the Reliance Jio introduced free data and voice call plans across India, telecom industry has been on its toes to come up with lucrative plans to counter Jio’s increasing publicity. Recently, Reliance also launched JioPhone at an effective price of Rs 0 and since then Airtel has launched 4 such the phones at a very low effective price, BSNL and Vodafone have also launched such phones.
Now, Vodafone has announced a new recharge pack for prepaid customers in Delhi-NCR circle with unlimited calling and bundled data. The new plan offers bundled calls and 1GB data for a period of 28 days at a price of Rs 199. The voice calls come with a limitation of 250 minutes in a day and 1000 minutes in a week, similar to the plan released by Aircel recently. If the voice call limit exceeds the user will be charged for voice calls at a rate of 30 paise per minute.
It is also known that under the pack users cannot make free voice calls to more than 300 unique phone numbers in a period of 7 days. In case user exceeds this limit, the company will charge the voice call at a rate of 30 paisa per minute for the remaining validity.
Vodafone earlier launched offering customers 1.5GB bundled data per day and unlimited voice calls for a validity of the28 days at a price of Rs 348. Airtel, BSNL, Idea have also introduced similar plans to counter Reliance Jio that is offering 1GB data per day and unlimited voice without any daily or weekly limit for 49 days at a price of Rs 309.
