Facing the stiff competition from Reliance Jio and Airtel, Vodafone has announced that now it will be providing the Vodafone subscribers of Rs 198 prepaid recharge plan 1.4GB of 3G or 4G data per day instead of 1GB daily data. This means that this plan will be offering a total of 39.2GB, which will be valid for 28 days. Earlier, Jio and Airtel made changes to their under Rs 200, recharge plans. The Vodafone recharge website highlights that the plan of Rs 198 comes with a 100 SMS/day free within India, unlimited bundled local, STD and roaming calls.
Another Vodafone plan is for Rs 199 and is listed on the website. It delivers similar offers to the subscribers as that of the Rs 198 pack. This includes daily data of 1.4GB for both 4G and 3G data users and unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls offer paired with 100 SMS per day. Still, the telecom giant Vodafone continues to provide 1GB daily data for 70 days validity with Rs 399 recharge plan while Reliance Jio’s has brought improvements in Rs 399 prepaid recharge plan with 1.5GB daily data and a validity of 84 days.

29 days agoInterestingly, the arch-rival of Vodafone Reliance Jio has also revamped its Rs 149 prepaid pack with by offering 1.5GB daily data to customers at Rs 149, whereas the 2GB data per day for RS 198 prepaid plan. These two plans offer 100 SMS free per day and unlimited free calls with a validity of 28 days. On the other hand, Airtel offers a Rs 199 plan, which is just like the Rs 198 plan of Vodafone with 1.4GB data per day, free unlimited voice, local, STD and roaming calls. Apart from this, the two telecom companies in India also provides with 250 minutes daily limit and 1000 minutes weekly limits on voice calls.
