Videocon has recently updated its entry-level budget smartphone lineup by introducing the Metal Pro 2 at a price tag of Rs 6,999. The smartphone will be available to grab by the end of this month through multi-brand retail stores. Videocon is offering a 100-day replacement policy with its latest offering and features a 13-megapixel rear camera, which is exceptional in the respective segment.

Metal Pro 2

Videocon Metal Pro 2 comes with a 5.0-inch HD 1280 x 720 pixels display and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, which is not common in the segment. Powering the smartphone is a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC coupled to a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The storage can be further expanded via a microSD up to 128GB in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. For imaging, a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash at the rear and a 3.2 megapixel at the front is equipped.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio and micro-USB port. The list of sensors includes accelerometer, proximity and ambient light. Fueling the smartphone is a 2000mAh battery and measures 145 x 72.6 x 8.4 mm. The smartphone will be available in two colour options – Grey and Gold.
