Samsung Unveils Its First Foldable Handset To Clients Stealthily At CES, 2018

Samsung’s much awaited foldable smartphone is expected to get launched next year, but before that the rumor mill is not going to take a break. Every now and then some new buzz gets rolled out with respect to the smartphone. This time it is a report by ET news has turned everyone’s eyes towards the handset. It is reported that the Korean company has recently at CES, 2018 has unveiled its first foldable device in front of the clients at a private meeting.

The handset is rumored to be carrying a fold-in-fold-out design and it might be named as the Samsung Galaxy X. The in-folding curvature is believed to be of 1R(0.1 mm), whereas the out-folding curvature might have a 5 radius of curvature. The South Korean website, ET news has rolled out this news, which shows that the smartphone will be accompanied by a “7.3-inch foldable panel” and Samsung might “start production later this

Interestingly, Samsung launched innumerable smart electronic appliances in CES, but the one that appeared to be the most enticing one was the 168-inch 4K television. Samsung has also confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will be released at MWC 2018, which will be held in Barcelona, Spain in the next month. If one may recall, the last Mobile World Congress, which was held last year in Barcelona only, then also a closed-door meeting of Samsung with the clients was rumored.

Furthermore, the users may also recall that when the Samsung Galaxy S8 was launched last year, then also Samsung Mobile’s head DJ Koh pointed out that the Korean giant intentions of coming up with a foldable handset, under its Galaxy Note series by the end of 2018. Only time will tell how much these rumors are true.
