Good news for Samsung smartphones users, as they can expect the launch of a foldable device from Samsung by December 2018. If the company is able to get rid of all the technical glitches related to the handset, then this information could turn to be true. Recently, this news got reported by South Korea’s ET News. As per the report, the manufacturing of the first foldable phone from Samsung will be completed by November 2018 and the launch will be scheduled for December of this year.
Interestingly, the South Korean publication also hinted that the handset might be sporting a massive 7.3 inch OLED display. The manufacturing of these OLED Display will kick off in March, 2018 and the mass production can get started in September, so that the debut could be done in in November. If things do not fall in line as expected, then users may have to wait till next year for the unravelling of Samsung’s first foldable phone.
Strikingly, the smartphone will also be donning an inward folding mechanism similar to a book and users may feel as if they are handling a book. Obviously, the handset will have the appearance of a smartphone, but once the users fold it, the device can be used as a tablet. And hence, this smartphone will be quite costly.

It was also reported earlier that Samsung will be releasing limited units of its first foldable phone in some selected countries, so that it can check how the users response to it.
