Last few days the news of Xiaomi, Gionee, Honor and OnePlus smartphones had captured the attention of users, now Samsung is back for all positive reasons. Surprisingly, Samsung is going to roll out Galaxy S9 next year with a “new sensor”. Also, the rumor revolving in the smartphone world is that the Seoul-based manufacturer is said to have started the mass production of Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus.
The “new sensor” news has permeated the LinkedIn profile of a Samsung Principal Engineer to the best corner of the world. Moreover, the engineer is working on different aspects of Samsung’s flagship devices planned to be launched in 2018. Not only this, the Linkedin profile has also given a vague idea that the company would have started working on some aspects related to the hardware of Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S11.
Although, nothing has been explicitly written about the “new sensor”, but one can expect that it would be something related to the camera since the person whose Linkedin profile has revealed this rumor works on the Samsung’s next-generation mobile devices’ image sensors and camera systems. Another thing that supports this expectation is the iris scanner present in the Galaxy S8, the Galaxy S8+, and the Galaxy Note 8 from Samsung, which is till now the most advanced sensor type to be added by the company to its smartphones.
Furthermore, there is also the buzz in the smartphone market that some latest IoT functionality to be introduced in Galaxy S9. Undoubtedly, whatever this “new sensor” would be it will something more than the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, which already have amazing smart features. Strikingly, it is also rumored that this time yet again Samsung is failing to integrate optical fingerprint scanner, which the company tried to implement last time with Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.

8 days agoAmazingly, it is expected that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus will be succeeding the 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Infinity Display panels of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. It might be carrying QHD+ screens with a better and taller aspect ratio of 18.5:9. In addition to this buzz, it is also suggested that Samsung will be powering the Galaxy S9 series devices with a Qualcomm’s unannounced Snapdragon 845 SoC. Still, there is no official statement issued by the South Korean company and hence, leading to an inference would be wrong. Better wait and watch.
