- Single rear camera on Galaxy S9, dual on Galaxy S9+
Some new images of Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ has surfaced. The images how phones inside an Olixar phone case revealing the front and rear design of both the phones.
The leaked images suggest that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will come with the similar design as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones. As speculated earlier, the Galaxy S9 seems to be housing a single camera setup while the Galaxy S9+ will come with a dual rear camera setup. We have seen a horizontally arranged dual camera setup while the dual camera setup on the Galaxy S9+ seems to be arranged vertically. The fingerprint sensor has been shifted to bottom of the camera module.
There are Power Key and volume rockers on the left edge of the phone while the Bixby button is seen lying on the right edge. The phones also house a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port and speaker grills at the bottom. There is heartbeat sensor lying on the right side of the camera module.
On the front, there are even more thinner bezels on each side and the edges are more curved. The Infinity Display on both the phones is expected to deliver a screen to body ratio of 85 per cent.
Rumours have it that both the phones will be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor in the US and China. These phones will be shipped with Exynos 9810 for the rest of the world. The phones are expected to come on 128GB and 256GB memory variants.
