The internet is flooded with leaks and renders of Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone, Galaxy S9. The recent reports claim that the new smartphone will be launched sooner than we expected. With earlier, we mean that it will be launched earlier than the time of year Galaxy S8 was launched this year.
The Galaxy S8 was launched in March, a month later that it was expected. The South-Korean giant postponed the MWC 2017 launch in wake of the fallout of the Galaxy Note 7 debacle to ensure the same does not happens to next flagship device. To recall, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S6 were launched at MWC which takes place every year in late February in Spain.
The Galaxy S9 will be unveiled at MWC 2018 and the announcement for the same will be made a day before the MWC kicks off, as per a report from India Today, which has not revealed the source of this information.
If the calculations of media and tipsters comes true, the Galaxy S9 is expected to hit the stores earlier that Galaxy S8 was launched this year. The South-korean giant may return to the MWC for launch its bezel-less lineup. We advise you to take it with a pinch of salt as India Today pointed out that the Samsung has not released any official statement in this context.
