There is a flood of leaks and renders about the upcoming flagship smartphone from Samsung, the Galaxy S9 which will arrive as the successor of one of the most beautiful phones in the market till date, the Galaxy S8. Almost all the leaks claim that the design of the new phone will be quite similar to its predecessor. But, a leaked render released by 91Mobiles and @OnLeaks suggests that the phone will be arriving with some design changes.

The video that includes 3D CAD images of the phone reveals that the new phone will come with a slightly smaller display than the Galaxy S8 which features a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display. The phone is thus expected to be smaller, thicker and more compact and may house a 5.65-inch display which will be curved towards the right and left edges.
The much-criticised vaguely placed fingerprint scanner has been shifted away from the camera sensor. The fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy Note 8 created inconvenience as it smudged the camera lens in the attempt to unlock the phone.
There are mixed reports regarding the camera setup on the rear as some claim a single rear camera on the new device while others are claiming that it will come with dual rear camera setup. This would only be clear after company officially unveils that phone that is expected during CES 2018 in January.
The phone will house a power button on the right side while the left of the phone comes with Bixby button and volume rockers. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port at the bottom. The phone will definitely be IP68 water and dust resistant and the iris scanner might be improved one on the new device.
The Galaxy S9 will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship processor, Snapdragon 845. The RAM on the phone will be of 6 gigs and there will be 64GB and 128GB of internal storage on the phone. It will most probably run on the Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
