The internet is flooded with the leaks and renders of Samsung’s upcoming smartphone, the Galaxy S9. And now we are known that it will be unveiling first on January 9 during the CES, 2018. Recent reports have also claimed that Samsung will not be introducing the dual rear camera setup on the Galaxy S9 but may be seen on the “Plus” model of the phone. Similar to the Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The bigger model iPhone 8 Plus the comes with dual rear camera setup while the lower model iPhone 8 comes with single rear camera setup.
The Galaxy S9 will also not come with an under-display fingerprint sensor. It will also not come with the much-criticised position i.e. beside the camera module. A photo shared by SlashLeaks and Chinese microblogging website Weibo suggests that the fingerprint sensor will be placed below the camera at a decent distance from the sensor. The phone may also with S Health app built into the fingerprint sensor as was claimed by GSMArena in past.
The phone comes with iris scanning feature that is expected to be improved in the new devices. The bezels on the top and bottom are speculated to become even thinner. The memory on the phone may be increased and we can see a 256GB or 512GB model soon.
