After launching the Panasonic P77 last year in India, Panasonic has just launched an updated variant of the phone that now comes with more storage, new and improved features and all this at a better and lesser price too. The new handset comes with a 16GB built in storage as compared to the previous 8GB one and is priced at Rs 5,299.
Panasonic plans to sell the product exclusively through Flipkart and is offering the model in both gray and white colour variants. Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said “Our association with Flipkart has always helped us to reach out to our customers. The upgraded version of P77 is one of the most wallet friendly offers from Panasonic.”
Ayyappan Rajagopal, Senior Director, Mobiles, Flipkart threw a light on the association of the two organizations at the launch, “With 4G smartphones increasingly becoming more sought after and affordable, a huge chunk of Indian smartphone shoppers are opting to purchase them online. Flipkart has a wide selection of such budget-friendly 4G-equipped smartphones that offer customers an attractive package deal of competitive pricing and innovative technology. The launch of the new P77 is an extension of the exclusive partnership we enjoy with Panasonic.”
The Panasonic P77 comes with a dual- SIM and supports 4G only on one SIM card slot at a time. The smartphone is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and features a 5-inch HD (720X1280 pixels) display.
The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor and comes with 1GB RAM. The thing to look for is the camera of the Panasonic P77 that comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera. If that isn’t enough, the smartphone comes with 8GB built in storage that can be expanded to up to 32GB via micro SD card.
Last but not the least, the smartphone is powered by a 2000mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the brand is offering this handset with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS.
