No matter how big the online electronic market gets, the offline stores will always play an important role in boosting up sales in a country like India where people are very choosy when it comes to electronics and especially smartphones. Before buying any smartphone, we always prefer to get a feel of it and how it performs. For such customers, OnePlus has tied up with major electronic retailer Croma to sell the latest OnePlus 5 and it will be available from September 19.
Earlier after its launch in June this year, the OnePlus 5 was available online on Amazon India as well as recently launched Experience stores in Delhi and Bangalore. The company also launched several pop-up stores across the country for users to buy the smartphone instantly but that was temporary. Now the Chinese smartphone giant decided to increase its offline presence and Croma being a well known electronic retailer in India seemed to be the best choice.OnePlus 5 fans can now head to their nearest Croma store and use the dummy model before actually purchasing the original version. This would give the users a sense of complete satisfaction and hence better sales for the company.
To recall, OnePlus 5 is the high-end smartphone by the Chinese manufacturer. It features massive 6GB/8GB RAM and an internal storage of 64/128GB. The device is powered by Snapdragon 835. The device packs dual16MP camera setup on the rear with a wide-angle lens and another telephoto lens. The processor performance can be optimised in the device according to the use. The device packs a 3300mAh battery that supports fast charging. The charging port is a Type-C one at the bottom.

We are also expecting some promotional offers but they are yet to be revealed.
For now, OnePlus 5 has joined hands with Croma stores for ten major cities including Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore. Eventually, they will expand to other cities in India. This move from OnePlus could prove to be a turning point for the company. Looking at Croma’s vast presence and reputation in India, we can predict a huge response from the audience.
