Earlier, the OnePlus 5T Lava Red variant was released in China as a Limited Edition. Now, this variant is making its way to India, according to a teaser on OnePlus India’s Twitter account. The smartphone was unveiled originally in November 2017 and recently its Star Wars limited edition was also released in India with the release of Star Wars movie. Apart from the red variant, a Sandstone White variant was also launched earlier in this month in the US and China. Originally, OnePlus 5T was unveiled in the Midnight Black color. The teaser tweeted highlights the release of Lava red variant in the next two days. This means it will be unravelled on Thursday, January 11. Nothing much is known about the price of the phone but is expected to be same as the original Midnight Black variant.
OnePlus 5T specifications
No one knows how much this variant will be able to woo buyers, but one thing is certain that the features of this handset will remain same. The OnePlus 5T houses a 6.01-inch full-HD + Full Optic AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and runs OxygenOS 4.7.6 based on Android Nougat. The device also carries 6GB and 8GB of RAM variants with an inbuilt storage capacity of up to 128GB.

As far as the camera is concerned, the OnePlus 5T is accompanied by a dual rear camera setup. The setup has a 16-megapixel sensor and a 20-megapixel sensor alongside. The selfie camera has a 16-megapixel sensor for both the selfie shots and video calling. The handset is also supported by a non-removable 3300mAh battery, Face Unlock and the faster Dash Charging support.
