The OnePlus 5T is the first bezel-less smartphone by the Chinese manufacturer, OnePlus. It is said to host minor tweaks and will be a slightly upgraded version of company’s present flagship device, OnePlus 5. The OnePlus 5T is facing design and specification leaks and even when the company has not made any confirmation, the device has been listed on a third party Chinese online retailer, Oppomart. According to the listing, the device will be priced at $549 (roughly Rs 36,000). The listings further reveal that shipping of the smartphone is most likely to start by the end of November.
Talking about the OnePlus 5T’s specifications mentioned in the listing, the device features a 6-inch Quad HD screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core processor clocked at 2.45GHz. The OnePlus 5T is expected to come in two RAM and memory variants including 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage.
In terms of optics, the listings claim that the smartphone will come with a dual camera setup on the rear with a 20MP sensor and another 16MP sensor. There is also a 16MP front selfie shooter.
The OnePlus 5T was recently spotted at the Antutu benchmark with OnePlus A5040 model name. The listings suggested similar specifications as listed on the online retail store, only the front camera is shown as a 20MP sensor from the previously speculated 16MP sensor.
The device is expected to come in an edge-to-edge bezel-less design under an aluminum frame. To keep the device running, it is backed by a 3300mAh battery that is expected to feature fast dash charging similar to its predecessor. There is no sign of physical home button while the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back panel.
