nubia unveiled the M2 Play in India on September 7. The device runs on Android Nougat with an upgraded nubia UI 5.0. The device is Amazon Exclusive and is priced at Rs 8.999. The M2 Play will be out for sale from September 8 at 12 noon.

The M2 Play is the third installment to company’s M Series smartphones offering a smooth texture and strong body. The device packs 5.5-inch 2.5D display and an integrated metal body having a double diamond edge-cut frame design. The device is powered by octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. The nubia M2 Play offers 32GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone features with a fingerprint sensor also allowing users to unlock the device in just 0.15 seconds.

In terms of optics, the device boasts a 13MP Sony CMOS lens with an aperture of f/2.2 on the rear that is capable of capturing images with 1080p resolution. It is also capable of recording videos at 30fps. The intelligent noise reduction feature helps to capture less noisy low-light images. It is also equipped with 0.1s Hybrid Focus which provides blazing fast focus speed and accuracy allowing quick capture and clearer shots.

There is 5MP camera sensor with fast focus and an f/2.4 aperture allowing wider and clearer image capture. To add to this, nubia M2 Play comes with a proprietary Neo Vision 6 package allowing users to expand their creativity and capture professional like photographs with features such as Clone Camera 2.0, Macro Camera 2.0, DNG Camera 2.0 and Beauty Mode on rear camera, HDR 4.0 and anti-shake functions.

The device is backed by a 3000mAh battery which is combined with intuitive UI making the M2 Play a unique device for gaming and browsing. Despite hosting an octa-core processor and powerful battery, the M2 Play looks very thin.
