The Finnish multinational company, HMD Global recently launched their latest smartphone Nokia 8 featuring a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage in London. The smartphone is scheduled to launch in India on September 26. While the die-hard Nokia fans are eagerly waiting for the smartphone to be available in the global market, another report came up recently stating that HMD global is coming up with another variant of the same Nokia 8, this time with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
A few days back, the 6GB/128GB variant appeared on the FCC website in the US and as the users were all pumped up for the news of the smartphone to be launched in the US, a sudden leak from the company confirmed that the Nokia 8 will soon be available in the European market.
According to the report from WinFuture, HMD global also confirmed the available color options and pricing of the smartphone in Germany. The report tipped that the Nokia 8 variants bearing model numbers TA-1004 and TA-1012 will be available from October 20 only in Germany. We still have no confirmation from the company as of when they are planning for a launch in other countries.
To recall the specifications of the Nokia 8, it comes with a 5.3-inch 2K LCD display and a resolution of 2560x1440p. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s high-end SoC Snapdragon 835 processor. The Nokia 8 houses a dual 13MP camera (one RGB and one monochrome lens) with IR range finder, OIS, f-2.0 aperture at 76.9 degrees and PDAF. The front houses a 13MP camera for selfies with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and displays flash.
The smartphone is also backed by a 3090mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1. Nokia has confirmed that it will soon upgrade the Nokia 8 to the recently launched Android Oreo OS.
Talking about the connectivity options, Nokia 8 comes with USB 3.1 with Type-C connectivity and a 3.5mm earphone jack.

20 days agoCurrently, the Nokia 8 comes for a pricing of 580 euros i.e. approximately INR 44,790. However, the upcoming variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory is expected to cost a bit higher than the existing version, expected to cost around 670 euros that will be approximately INR 51,714.
