Nokia 8’s New Variant Launched With 6GB RAM, 128GB Storage In Finland

Nokia has launched a new variant of its recent flagship smartphone Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage in Finland today. The device has started to go on sale and suggests that company aims to improve its top offering as it aims to regain its position in the market.

The 6GB variant of Nokia 8 was first spotted at DNA and Verkkokauppa retailers, as per the listings on both the e-commerce websites. The variant is priced at EUR 649.99 (roughly Rs 49,800). Both the retailers were seen letting customers pay in monthly installments for financial ease and both the retailers have said that they will ship the device by October 19.

The Finnish tech giant’s new Nokia 8 variant has been in speculations for quite some time. Recently, a Nokia 8 variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage was spotted on US FCC website. The tip also suggested that Nokia will be launching this variant of the device in the US. However, a recent report indicates that the Finnish giant will be launching a new handset in the US soon, and it is not going to be Nokia 8 there at all.

The Nokia 8 went on sale in India last month. It features a 5.3-inch Quad HD display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. IT is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. There are two 13-megapixel rear camera lenses that feature optical image stabilization (OIS). There is also a 13-megapixel front selfie shooter and is priced at Rs 39,999 in India.
