Apple products have a global market and nothing new can be said in addition to what has been said previously about its unmatched quality and extremely high performing hardware configuration. Apple will be launching this new variant of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in Red in order to support RED, the organization that helps spreading and raising awareness and funds about HIV/AIDS in Africa. Apple has raised more than $160 million dollars (around Rs 1,038 crores) to fight with diseases like AIDS. The new iPhone model will have all the features of the iPhone 8 along with its charming scarlet outlook. The Retina HD display is one of the most coveted features of this model. Along with these, the cell phone will also have multi-touch display with the very effective IPS technology.
Not just the new iPhone 8 model but last year’s iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were also made available in red color to support the RED organization and contributed a part of their sales to the Global Fund HIV/AIDS grants that take care of testing, treatment, counselling and prevention programs with a focus on eliminating the transmission of virus from mothers to their babies. The main focus of the project to eradicate HIV/AIDS is on 8 African countries namely, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Swaziland, Tanzania, and Zambia.
