Motorola which is now owned by Lenovo is set to introduce its latest model, the Moto X4 on August 24. That said, the smartphone’s renders and images of the production ready iteration have been leaked, thanks to Slashgear.com. According to the images, the Moto X4 will have a glass-like rear as well as a dual-rear camera setup. This dual camera is horizontally aligned, however, has a round shaped glass cover over it.
In terms of specifications, the Moto X4 is expected to have an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz with two RAM options. These would be 3GB and 4GB with the former having 32GB internal storage while the latter being offered with 64GB. While the 3GB RAM version is tipped to be introduced in North America, Latin America and Europe, the 4GB RAM trim will come to the Asia Pacific region including India.
The phone is expected to run on a 3,000mAh battery with the company’s TurboCharging feature. It is also speculated to measure 148.5×73.4×7.99 mm making it one of the thinnest phones in the mid-range smartphone market. Elaborating more on the dual camera setup, the Moto X4’s unit would consist of 12MP and 8MP sensors. The front camera is expected to be a 16MP unit with f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixel size capable of recording 4K videos.

18 days agoThe Moto X4 will compete in the premium mid-range category with the likes of the OnePlus 3T already on sale in India. With this price tag, the Moto X4 could be a better deal if speculations come out to be true. The Moto X4 which is likely to be priced at Rs 26,500 would also get a host of other tricks up its sleeve. However, to see those, we would have to wait till August 24 for its official launch.
