At the beginning of 2017, the Korean electronics manufacturer LG launched two smartphones, K7 LTE and K10LTE in India and yet again the company is planning to expand its market with the launch of K3 LTE and K4 LTE for the Indian users on Wednesday.
LG has already started sending out invites for the event to be held in India Mobile Congress 2017 on Wednesday i.e on September 27.In the invites, the company has mentioned the alphabet “K” point towards the addition of another smartphone in the K-series. IT Minister Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad is invited has the chief guest for the event.
According to various sources, LG might launch both the smartphones during the same event. LG K8, launched in August 2017 costs INR 11,000 and the LG K10 that was launched in February 2017 costs INR 13,990. The expected pricing for LG K3 is around INR 5,999 and for LG K4 should cost around INR 7000.
The LG K3 and LG K4 were initially announced during the CES 2017 but the pricing of the smartphones was not declared.
Looking at the specifications, the LG K3 is powered by Qualcomm’s 1.1GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 210 MS8909 SoC processor. It comes with 1GB RAM and has an internal storage of 8GB (expandable up to 32GB).The phone houses a 2100mAh removable battery and runs on Android 6.0. The K3 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480 X 854p. Talking about the camera, there is a 5MP camera at the rear with LED flash and 2MP selfie camera at the front. There are two color options available: Pink Gold and Metallic titan.

17 days agoThe LG K4, on the other hand, comes with a larger display of 5-inch and resolution of 480 x 854p. The processor for both K3 and K4 are same. The LG K4 also comes with a 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. It houses a 2500mAh and has Android 6.0.1. The smartphone comes with a 5MP camera for both front and rear. The LG K4 is available in two colour options: Metallic Titan and Metallic Black.
LG might also launch its another flagship device, G6 during the World Congress 2017. The G6 is expected to house a dual camera.
It will be interesting to see whether LG smartphones will be able to cope up with the tough competition in the Indian market from competitors like Motorola, Samsung etc.
