After a series of teaser images on social media platforms, Lenovo is all set to unveil its next smartphone on August 9. The #KillerNote is K8 which is confirmed by the manufacturer through a teaser image. The teaser image reflects the number 8 which suggests that the smartphone will be Lenovo K8 note and not the K7 Note which was expected previously.
The teaser image is a mathematical puzzle which results into 8 on solving. The image was posted on the official Twitter account of the company and users were asked to answer. This confirmed that Lenovo is skipping the number 7. The trend is quite common among the Chinese manufacturers and we have witnessed this with OnePlus, who ditched the number 4 and came up with OnePlus 5. Even Samsung did the same thing last year by skipping the number 6 and introduced Note 7 in order to bring the Note series inline with the Galaxy. Though the reason being the number is still unknown, it is confirmed that the next smartphone in the Note series will be K8.
