OnePlus’ upcoming flagship smartphone, OnePlus 5T has is expected to launch in the month of November and what is said to be the last render of the smartphone has surfaced the internet thanks to SlashLeaks. The image shows off a bezel-less phone, similar to what others smartphone manufacturers are doing with their flagship this year. The aspect ratio of the smartphone is expected to be 18:9. However, it is unclear as to how authentic the render is the origin of the render has not been confirmed.
We have witnessed renders images of the OnePlus 5T previously and this one released by SlashLeaks does not resemble the previous renders. The last render image of OnePlus 5T that surfaced online was exactly same as the rendered image of Oppo F5 which adds weight to the suggestion that this is indeed the OnePlus 5T.
There were suggestions earlier that the Chinese manufacturer was planning to launch OnePlus 6. However, it is not sure if it is going to be OnePlus 6 or OnePlus 5T which is going to launch first, but the company is expected to launch its flagship device in December this year. What managed to add to the rumours about the upcoming flagship from OnePlus is that the company is said to be out of stock of both 6GB and 8GB RAM variants of OnePlus 5, which has triggered arguments that this is evidence that the company is readying for the release of a new device. The Slate Gray variant of the OnePlus 5 has also gone out of stock in several regions including the UK, which adds further add to the rumours of a new phone.
As far as specifications are concerned, the OnePlus 5T is expected to feature 6-inch FHD with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. There were rumours that the device may house an edge to edge design with an aspect ratio of 18:5:9, similar to that of Samsung Galaxy S8. The processor on OnePlus 5T is also rumoured to be an improved one.
