The wait for the much-rumoured and much-anticipated anniversary device from Apple, iPhone X is about to end as the device is all set to launch at the mega event tomorrow i.e. September 12. Two other devices will be launched alongside iPhone X – iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The iPhone X will come with 3GB RAM, 12MP camera, A11 processor and 3D Facial Recognition feature. The smartphone will run on iOS 11 GM, where GM stands for Gold Master, which is the final version of the software.

The iPhone X will feature an always-on OLED display with True-Tone feature (recently introduced in iPad Pro) and a screen resolution of 1125×2436 pixels. The device will offer 3GB of RAM and internal memory of 64GB/256GB/512GB. There will be a 3D Facial Recognition feature for unlocking the device which is expected to replace the Touch ID in the new device.
In terms of optics, the device will sport a vertically placed dual camera setup with two 12MP camera sensors – one with wide angle lens and the other with a telephoto lens. The camera will capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps and 1080p videos at 240fps. On the front, there is a 7MP camera sensor that is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.
The device is expected to feature an all-glass body that will help to hide the antenna lines in a better way. There will also be a metal frame on all four sides to house the physical keys, charging port and speakers. The phone will support USB Type-C along with wireless charging feature. Similar to iPhone 7 Plus, there will be no 3.5mm audio jack, but the device is expected to ship along with the air-pods inside the box. The iPhone X will be dust and water resistant with IP68 certification.
The iPhone X will be powered by the A11 processor that will have 6 cores, but not Fusion one. Out of six, two will be high performing Monsoon cores, while the rest four will be low-performing Mistral cores, all of them would be independently accessible.
Price and Availablity in India
The iPhone X will be unveiled along with iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus on September 12. All the devices are expected to go on pre-bookings from September 15. As far price is concerned, the 64GB inbuilt memory variant will cost $1099, 256GB will cost $1199, while the premium variant of the smartphone with 512GB inbuilt memory will cost an eye-watering $1299.
In India, the 64GB variant of the smartphone will cost almost Rs 90,000, while the premium variant of the smartphone will cost Rs 1.1 lakh.
