- Geekbench test, one the best benchmark tests was recently held for the new iPhones
- The results of these tests are very impressive
- Even Samsung’s Galaxy S8 cannot match performance of the new iPhones
Apple’s new phones iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and the tenth-anniversary iPhone X have been officially launched last week, which put an end to all the leaks and rumors. Although the rumors and leaks perfectly pictured the new iPhones yet there was the wait for the official announcement. It was speculated that the new iPhones will have an incredible A11 chip and thereby make these devices work powerfully.
Before the official launch of these phones many seemingly impossible benchmark test results were leaked, all of those have now been confirmed. Now, with the latest release of benchmark tests it has been proven that Apple has launched world’s most powerful phones.
Primate Labs’ Geekbench test is considered to be one of the best benchmark tests out there. Benchmarks are synthetic tests that put a device’s SoC to a squeeze in order to understand its capabilities, mainly in terms of speed. Through this test, the chip’s cores are evaluated and the time is calculated in which these chips complete a task. This test is also considered to be a good measure of real-life speed and performance.
Mostly, manufacturers prioritize optimization of single cores, as most of the things that a smartphone user doesn’t require multiple cores to perform simultaneously. But in the past few years, apps have become more complex and thereby demand more power. For this reason alone, multi-core processors have been introduced in flagship phones. Therefore, it’s important that a phone performs well in both the categories in a benchmark test.

3 days agoThe benchmark results performed on final hardware are way too impressive. According to the tests, Apple’s iPhone 8 averages 4195 in single-core tests and 10005 in multi-core tests. On the other hand, the best performing Android device is Samsung’s Galaxy S8 which averages 1965 in single-core tests and 6494 in multi-core tests. The difference between these two smartphones is massive. Surely, the new iPhones will give its competitors to work on processors and other technology as powerful as the A11 chip by Apple.
The other features of this phone include a 4.7-inch Retina HD display. A wireless charging technology has been built in this smartphone. The iPhone 8 has a high quality 12 MP wide-angle and telephoto rear cameras and a 7MP front-facing camera. Apple has surely stunned the world with their new iPhones.
