It has not been a month since the launch of iPhone 8 and 8 Plus and the users are already facing several issues with the device. In a fresh, two different incidents have been reported from Taiwan and Japan of iPhone 8 Plus splitting from the sides. Earlier, there was a report of a crackling sound that emitted from the earpiece speakers. However, the issue has been resolved by Apple in the new iOS 11 update.
A report by The Independent claims that a user had complained that an Apple iPhone 8 Plus split open from between while the phone was being charged using the Apple charger and cable that came in the box along with the phone. In the report, the buyer also claimed that he had purchased the device 5 days before the incident occurred.

In a separate incident, a Japanese man posted images of the iPhone 8 Plus showing that the device bust open and the display of the device separated from rest of the body. However, the user did not mention that the incident took place while the device was charging or not.
As per The Independent report, Apple has not come out of explanation yet, but is looking into the matter. Since no other incidents have been reported so far, it is likely that these were isolated incidents.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were launched on the iPhone’s anniversary celebration event on September 12 alongside the anniversary special device, iPhone X. Both the devices come in 64GB and 256GB memory variant. The iPhone 8 is available in India at a price of Rs 64,000 for 64GB and Rs 77,000 for 256GB variant. The iPhone 8 Plus is available at a cost of Rs 73,000 for 64GB variant and Rs 86,000 for 256GB variant.
