Idea has unraveled its Rs. 93 recharge pack to challenge its counterparts Jio and Airtel. This pack is valid for 10 days similar to Airtel pack, which is priced at Rs. 93. The Rs. 93 prepaid pack offers ‘unlimited’ local and STD calls limited up to 250 minutes per day with 1,000 minutes per week. The customers are charged at 1 paisa for each second after they cross the call limits. Interestingly, this pack doesn’t offer any bundled SMS offer like Airtel Rs. 93 prepaid recharge pack.
This offer is for users having higher calling requirements and is not aimed at those who use data more than calls. This is one of the reasons why the pack offers 1GB of 3G data, which is also valid for a period of 10-days.
In comparison to this pack, the Jio Rs. 98 prepaid recharge pack is valid for 14 days and provides unlimited calls in addition to free SMSes just like Airtel Rs.93 pack. Furthermore, the Jio pack also offers the customers free calls on roaming and 150MB per day data with 140 SMSes. Undoubtedly, this step from Idea is inspired by Airtel Rs. 93 pack, as this plan comes one week after the unveiling of Airtel prepaid Rs.93 pack.

26 days agoThe only problem with this pack is that on the Idea official website, it appears that the offer is available only for some numbers and not all. This means it is a segmented offer from Idea. Therefore, the subscribers need to check whether this plan exists on their number. Only time will tell how much this step from Idea is appreciated by subscribers. As of now, it appears a prudent step from Idea.
