HTC U11+ To Go On Sale In Indian Market From February 7

HTC is all set to make its device HTC U11+ go on sale in Indian smartphone market from February 7, i.e. tomorrow. The handset will be Flipkart exclusive and will be first available in the Amazing Silver color model. It is also expected that the device will be soon available in Ceramic Black color option as well. Perhaps this is the first device from HTC that carries an edge-to-edge display. Interestingly, this handset was launched initially by HTC in November last year. When the smartphone was launched 2017 promising that the Taiwanese company will make the device go on sale in “select markets.” This smartphone is a premium device from HTC that will challenge Samsung Galaxy S8 and the iPhone 8.

HTC U11+ price and availability

Coming to the price, the HTC U11+ will carry a price tag of Rs. 56,990 in the country and as already mentioned will go on sale through Flipkart only on February, 7. If one may recall, the HTC U11+ smartphone was initially priced at EUR 799, which if converted directly is around Rs. 64,000 and had listed on HTC India official website.

Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which is clocked at 2.45GHz, this handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box and one may also find the company’s Sense User Interface running on top of the device. The memory configuration of the handset that houses a 6-inch Quad HD+ Super LCD display is either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB onboard storage options. Strikingly, on the Flipkart, the users may find HTC U11+ 6GB model listed. Coming back to the display, the screen resolution of the device is 1440 x 2880 pixels and is accompanied by a protection of the Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

HTC U11+ Camera

On the photography end, the handset HTC U11+ carries a snapper with 12-megapixel UltraPixel camera with dual LED flash and other features such as autofocus, OIS, f/1.7 aperture, and BSI sensor. The selfie camera is an 8-megapixel snapper with BSI sensor and f/2.0 aperture. Also, to woo the users, the device supports 4K video recording.
