With Valentine’s day coming closer, more and more smartphone companies are rolling out their limited red edition in India such as the OnePlus 5T and Xiaomi Mi A1. Now, it is time for Huawei’ sub-brand Honor to unveil its smartphone 7X, which was released last year in December in the Indian market. The Honor 7X Limited Edition Red variant comes with a price tag of Rs 12,999 and will go on sale exclusively on Amazon India. The user may do the registrations for the smartphone now itself as this option is open on the Amazon India website. As far as the availability of the units is concerned, Honor has not yet revealed anything about the new variant.

The smartphone Honor 7X features a 5.93-inch full HD+ resolution display accompanied by 18:9 aspect ratio. Powered by a Kirin 659 octa-core processor, the handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat-based EMUI 5.1. On the memory configuration end, it carries 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage capacity, which is expandable through a microSD card. Supported by a 3,340mAh battery, the device seems promising. In terms of connectivity, the Honor 7X includes GPS, dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE support.

Honor 7X Camera

On the photography end, the successor of the Honor 6X, Honor 7X is accompanied with a dual rear camera setup, where the primary camera sensor has 16-megapixel, while the secondary camera sensor is 2-megapixel. Alongside this, the handset also includes ‘Motion picture’ mode having a striking resemblance to the ‘Live Photos’ on the Apple iPhone. The dual camera rear setup is helpful in taking portrait photos with a blurred background. For the selfie lovers, the device carries an 8-megapixel camera competent in taking selfies and making video calls.

There are three other color variants of the handset available in the market – Gold, Black, and Blue. Interestingly, Honor in partnership with US-based Flextronics (Flex), will be making the Honor 7X under the ‘Made in India’ project in Chennai. If one may recall, already Honor Holly 3 and Honor 6X handsets from the Huawei sub-brand has been manufactured under ‘Made in India’ project. Better wait to see how this variant is received by users and how many units are made available for sale.
