Google May Launch Google Assistant Smart Headphones And Two Other Devices Soon

We all expected Google to launch the next installments of Google Pixel XL in India which was launched in other locations last year. But, the search giant, if sources are to be believed, may launch Google Chromebook Pixel, a younger sibling of Google Home model series and Google Assistant-powered headphones as well.

Big things first! The rumoured Chromebook Pixel is speculated to be Google’s mysterious Project Bison, rumours of which surfaced last year, though that is not at all certain. According to a report by Android Police, the Project Bison, was intended to the run highly-modified version of Android, the Andromeda OS.

Google intended Bison as a serious competitor to Apple’s Macbook and Microsoft’s Surface Pro. However, the reports do not provide any confirmation regarding Chromebook being the same laptop.

All that we know about the Project Bison so far is that it may feature a 12.3-inch display, 32GB or 128GB of in-built storage, 8GB or 16GB RAM and a Wacom stylus that could be used on the display, but, would be sold separately. The laptop was intended to be under 10mm thick, featuring a tablet mode as well.

Speculations have it that the alleged new Chromebook Pixel is Bison, or it may have evolved into a project codenamed “Eve”, as reported by Chrome Unboxed. There are chances it could be none like we are expecting and may turn out to be an entirely new project.

Coming to the next product speculated to be launched by the search giant is the smaller version of Google Home. This would be Google’s revert to the Amazon’s Echo Dot, a smaller and affordable version of the Echo. Reports currently surfacing the internet do not provide its exact measurement or features. However, who would not love to fill their house with voice command interfaces? If the affordability is properly met, it can be Google’s next big thing, from Google’s next smaller thing (in size).

Next in the list is that the company might be preparing to launch a pair of Google Assistant-powered headphones, the device codenamed “Bisto”, as reported by 9To5Google. The headphones allow you to speak in the mic to summon Google Assistant and interact with it anytime you wish. These headphones are expected to come with two physical buttons, one for Google Assistant that can be press and hold in order to talk to Google Assistant and other to activate voice notifications.
