The South Korean tech giant will announce its upcoming flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note 8 later this week, but, the company accidentally listed the smartphone on its online store before removing it eventually. Also, alleged specifications of the Galaxy Note 8 have been leaked by a promotional brochure in Australia. Live images of the handsets have also surfaced on the internet before its official launch.

According to a report by Android Police, the official listing by the company on its official website showed the 64GB (Unlocked) variant of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with model number SM-N950UZKAXAA accidentally appeared on Samsung’s official online store. The report further showcased device’s features that include an Infinity Screen, S Pen, and Bixby Assistant. However, the page has now been taken by the company. The leaks suggest that the smartphone will have the similar design as that of previous leaks and renders.

An hand-on live image of Galaxy Note 8 uploaded by a Weibo user also suggests that Note 8’s design will be similar to that of the previous leaks. The post was later taken down and is no more available.

Coming to the leaked promotional brochure of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was shared by Ausdroid, which further reveals the specifications of the smartphone. According to report, Galaxy Note 8 hosts a 6.3-inches Infinity Display with QHD+ resolution. The smartphone is IP68 certified which means that it is water and dust resistant and will support wireless charging, as per the brochure.

In terms of optics, there is a dual camera setup on the back which will include 2x optical zoom, optical image stabilization, and an aperture of f/1.7. The fingerprint scanner continues to sit next to the camera at the back, as seen in recently launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.

The Galaxy Note 8 is speculated to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and run on Android 7.1.1 out of the box. The phone is expected to offer 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Battery capacity is expected to be 3,300mAh that can be charged with the help of USB Type-C charging port.

Samsung has uploaded a teaser video of Galaxy Note 8, titled “Do Bigger Things” on its official YouTube channel. The smartphone will be launched on August 23 and will be made available for pre-order from next day of its launch, as per reports.
