Leaving everyone astounded, the Linkedin profiles of two persons working at Qualcomm has raised umpteen questions about the existence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 840, 845 and 855. On one hand, where many users and critiques were disheartened with the delay in the releasing of the first Smartphone based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 platform, the news has created a new curiosity among the users.
Although nothing has been officially stated by the Qualcomm related to the future of Snapdragon 840, 845 and 855, still the buzz about the existence of these have surprised many all across the globe. Furthermore, the rumour has even created a sensation by declaring the manufacturing process involved in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 as “10 nm/7 nm”. For the information, currently, the most looked after chipset from Qualcomm is the Snapdragon 835 and the manufacturing process used to produce this is 10nm.
The source of this news is True-Tech, which had brought the two Linkedin profiles into the limelight. The first is now not accessible, but the second one could be seen even now. Interestingly, this information is public and anyone can see it without logging into Linkedin. Furthermore, the person has not only highlighted the exposure to Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, 840 but also SDM660, SDM630, Freescale IMX6, TI’s DM36x, OMAP3, STM32F4xx”.

This year, many flagship devices have been processed on the platform Snapdragon 835 such as LG V30, Motorola Moto Z Force (second generation), Nokia 8, HTC U11, Google Pixel 2, Samsung Galaxy S8 and much more.
This piece of information, if turns out to be true, the next thing to see will be the Smartphones based on these platforms. Better not keep the hopes too high and wait for the future to reveal the truth behind this buzz.
