Coolpad has launched a new variant of the Note 5 Lite in India. The new model comes with more storage and is priced at Rs 8,199. The phone is available for purchase via Amazon India and also comes with an exchange discount of up to Rs 6,000. Coolpad Note 5 Lite was earlier launched in India in March with 16GB internal storage at a price of Rs 8,199. The phone is currently available at a discounted price of Rs 7,499 for 16GB variant.

Coolpad Note 5 Lite Specifications

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The display comes with 2.5D curved glass IPS display with a pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP SoC aided by 3GB of RAM and Mali 720 GPU. The device offers 16GB and 32GB of internal storage that can further be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.

The device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with dual-LED flash. There is also an 8-megapixel front selfie shooter that comes with LED flash for letting users capture memories even in low light conditions.

On connectivity front, there are USB OTG, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB and 3.5mm audio jack support. THe device draws its power from a 2500mAh battery that company claims is capable of delivering 200 hours of standby.

The phone comes with dual-SIM support and features a rear mounted fingerprint sensor making the device a strong contender in the budget smartphone segment. It is surely a value for money device. The only shortcoming is that is is powered by a dated processor.
