The government of India is promoting the new BHIM application and as part of that promotional drive for the Unified Payment Interface and for this the cash back offers are given to both the customers and also to the merchants. As part of the offer the customers can claim up to Rs 750 per month and on the other hand the merchants can avail Rs 1000 per month as part of the offer. On the other hand this application is promoted also to stymie the growth and the development of applications like Google Tez.
This offer is available for both new and old users of the application. This is done in order to counter various similar offers offered by applications like Google Tez. The details of cash back offers have been tweeted by Ravi Shankar Prasad, the Union Minister of Information and Technology and Digital India. This is the body that is promoting the digital transformation of all kind of services across India. The BHIM application will offer cashback of Rs 51 for the first successful transaction from the application.
At first the users will have to download the BHIM from the Google Play Store or from the Apple Store and install it successfully on their smartphones. After that they will have to store their phone number on the application. After this, the users need to link their bank accounts with this application in order to make the first transaction. The first transaction that the users will make should be of Rs one or more than that in order to avail the cashback of Rs 51. If the user is making more than twenty five transactions in a month but less than fifty then he or she will stand to get cashback of Rs 100.
