Apple May Resolve Two Most Common Issues Users Have With iPhones In The Upcoming Device

There are reports that all the 2018 smartphones from Apple will come in iPhone X-like design. Two out of which will feature OLED display while one will come with LCD display. But this does not mean the phone will be similar to the iPhone X launched by Cupertino-based firm this year. The notch would maintain its place above the display while 3D sensing camera might be shifted to the rear to enable AI-support to the iPhones. We might also see an upgraded processor on the new devices.

Apart from all this, next year’s iPhones will also make an upgrade in terms of battery. A recent report claims that the firm is working on replacing the current two-cell design with an improved single-cell design.

First spotted by Forbes, the report comes from KGI securities analyst Ming-Chi Kou that suggests that the current two cell design will be integrated into a single L-shaped cell to provide more internal volume to store the energy.

The Apple launched the iPhone X as the anniversary special smartphone making major changes in the design of the iPhone. The phone comes with larger bezel-less display with a slight notch at the top. This will not be the first time Apple would be making major changes in the shape to maximise battery life. Such an experiment has been made in 2015 MacBooks as well.

Kou’s report as reported by the Forbes suggests that this would increase battery capacity of another 300mAh, increasing iPhone’s battery life to around 10 percent. Battery life has become one key aspect that makes great impact on sale of a smartphone.

To recall, there were reports earlier that Apple may introduce dual-SIM iPhones next year, which points towards filling more empty space inside the iPhone. However, it does not seem an impossible task with tight integration of software and hardware which the is more efficient as compared to Android smartphones.

One of the biggest issues customers have with an iPhone is its battery life, single SIM support and non-expandable storage. If rumours are to be believed, two of these issues will be resolved in 2018 iPhone and we will surely appreciate it.
