There have been warlike situations in the Indian Telecom Industry since the launch of Reliance Jio back in September last year. All the major telecom players including BSNL, Airtel, Vodafone and Idea are coming up with their plans to counter Reliance Jio. Now, Aircel introduced new tariff plans in Kolkata starting at Rs 93. The plan includes offers the on local and STD voice calls, 3G data and local and national SMSes for new and existing prepaid customers.
New subscribers can get local and STD voice calls at 20 paise per minute, 250MB data usage per month and 50 local and national SMSes for 365 days along with the talk time of Rs 70 in Kolkata circle. Aircel has also introduced two new plans of Rs 175 and Rs 349 offering 1GB 3G/2G data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 local and national SMSes for 30 and 84 days respectively.
Also, the existing users will be able to upgrade their plan by opting for a pack of Rs 94 to get the benefit of all voice calls at a rate of 20 paise per minute. In addition to this, users will also be able to avail 1,400 local and national SMSes for 365 days. Another Rs 148 recharge will provide the existing users 2GB 3G/2G data along with 100 local and national SMSes and 250 minutes per day with a maximum limit of 1,000 minutes for a period of 28 days. Existing users can also avail recharge plan of Rs 348 that offers 1GB 3G/2G data, 100 local and national SMSes and 300 minutes of voice calling with a maximum limit of 1,200 minutes a week for a period of 84 days.
