Honor 9i - Overview
Honor 9i is available in three color variants for now as, Aurora Blue, Graphite Black, Prestige Gold. The device is equipped with a large 5.9-inch IPS LCD display of 1080 x 2160 resolution and 409 ppi density. Talking of the specifications here, HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset has been installed along with great Octa core (2.36 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53 + 1.7 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53) processor backed up by 4GB RAM for good performance. Storage is the key parameter which stands out in this device as 9i serves 64GB of internal storage along with its ability of expansion upto 128GB externally via microSD card.
The smartphone features a great dual rear camera setup of 16MP + 2MP with Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection and Touch to focus features. While, the front camera is a 13MP + 2MP lens setup for fine quality selfies. The powerhouse that backs the 9i is a 3340mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, 4G, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and USB connectivity is what Honor offers in 9i. Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Fingerprint sensor are the prime sensors available in the smartphone.
The Honor 9i gets tough competition from the Vivo V5s, Xioami Redmi Note 4 and the LG K10 2017 in terms of price and specifications.
