Xiaomi has launched the November security patch for its first Android One smartphone, Mi A1. The update has reportedly rolled out for several markets already. The security update from Google promises improved security and bug fixes for the smartphone.
The update came into highlight as some Mi A1 users shared screenshots on XDA-Developers forum showing notification of the new update. The update also brings improved stability for the Mi A1 along with optimised performance.
The screenshots shared by the Mi A1 users show only the security update but not includes Oreo update. The size of the update varies in two different types of screenshots. One showing a size of 467MB while some showing the update notification with a size of 1GB. The Android in an operating system designed by Google that comes with stock Android experience without any possible modification.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer launched the Rose Gold variant of the smartphone a couple of days back. The device features dual rear camera setup at a price of Rs 14,999.
Xiaomi Mi A1 Specifications
The Mi A1 features a 5.5-inch LTPS IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The device is powered by Snapdragon 625 coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat Android One and offers an internal storage of 64GB that can be expanded up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card.

1 days agoIn terms of optics, the Mi A1 sports a dual rear camera setup with two 12MP camera sensors, one out of which is a wide-angle lens and another is a telephoto lens. There is also a 5MP front selfie shooter.
The device is backed by a 3080mAh battery that supports fast charging and is priced at Rs 14,999.
