  • Galaxy J3 expected to be powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor
  • It might carry an 8MP rear camera and 5MP selfie camera

Fortunately or unfortunately, as this year is nearing an end, everyday something new about Samsung devices is getting leaked. This time it is all about the Galaxy J3, which was launched by the South Korean company in July of this year.

The model number SM-J330F, Galaxy J3 smartphone’s sequel is rumored to be released by the company in the mid of 2018. However, the key specs have somehow been leaked by GFXBench listing. Although no one can say it with certainty that the released specs are of Galaxy J3, one can speculate it easily due to the rumored unraveling of Galaxy J3 sequel in 2018.

Galaxy J3 2018

The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) are believed to be of entry-level just like its predecessor Galaxy J3 (2017). The primary camera at its rear is expected to be of 8MP and the selfie camera placed at the front to be of 5MP. Furthermore, it is expected to carry a 5-inch HD display and the pixel resolution of 1280 x 720. It is also rumored to be powered with a 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor together with the Mali-G71 GPU. Interestingly, it will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage capacity.

Galaxy J3 2018

Surprisingly, in comparison to its successor, the Galaxy J3 from Samsung was having a better primary camera of 13MP sensor and the storage capacity was same 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. Other than this the smartphone was also powered by the Exynos 7570 SoC and the battery was of 2400mAh paired with a 5-inch HD 720p display. It might not appear appealing to the users as the sequel device doesn’t seem to have a much alteration from the 2017 version Galaxy J3. Moreover, even the smartphone Galaxy J3 (2018) with the model number SM-J337 apparently seems to be carrying a downgraded rear camera.
