Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is set to introduce its most reasonable Redmi phone yet, the Redmi 4A. Priced at Rs 5,999, the phone would be available for pre-order through Amazon. To keep costs, in check, the phone will be available in one variant only with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded via the dual-SIM hybrid tray up to 128GB.
Potential buyers could also opt for official accessories including the Mi case cover, priced at Rs 349 and Mi headphones that cost Rs 599. The headphones are not a part of the out-of-the-box accessory kit in which you get a charger and a data cable, along with the phone of course. To place the order, buyers would have to complete the transaction within 15 minutes of the phone reaching their shopping cart. Delaying it would lead to the Redmi 4A being automatically removed from the cart. Better than the flash sale though.
The product will be available for pre-order from noon today and deliveries are claimed to happen in the coming five working days.
Specifications and Features of the Redmi 4A
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A is packed with Qualcomm’s 64-but Snapdragon 425 chipset processor mated to the Adreno 308 GPU. The 5-inch HD IPS display has Read Mode which reduces fatigue by reducing blue light rays from the screen. Colour temperature can also be adjusted based on your preference between warm, cool and standard.
The rear camera, although a single lens, is a 13MP camera which is good for the price tag. With the MIUI 8 operating system, it is able to detect if the shot taken is panoramic or a screenshot.
