The Mobile World Congress, 2018 event is coming near and the rumor mill has become active in spreading news related to most awaited devices of smartphone tech giants. Xiaomi Mi 7 is one such handset on which many eyes are glued to. Officially, no one can say much about its specifications, but the recent renders surfaced on a Nigerian website has much to reveal. Although only the rear side of the device is showcased in the images, still it has unfolded many mysteries related to the Xiaomi flagship device Mi 7.
The predecessor Mi 6 was launched in April 2017 and now it is speculated that during the MWC, 2018 event (March 26-31) Mi 7 will be released. It is now official that Xiaomi will be one of the exhibitors showcasing their stock at this event. The new renders show that the handset, which is alleged as Mi 7 carries a glass rear panel, thereby confirming that the device will be accompanied with wireless charging, as glass panel suits this type of charging (remember iPhone X). Moreover, Xiaomi has also highlighted that its next flagship smartphone will be supporting wireless charging.
It is also believed that the Xiaomi Mi 7 will be made available in two variants – 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal memory with 8GB RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage capacity. The dual camera setup could be of 19MP camera sensors and f1.7 aperture with 4x optical zoom. Equipped with Artificial Intelligence, the handset may carry a front camera of 16MP sensor supported by a 3,950mAh battery.

It shows that the cameras will be aligned horizontally with a dual tone LED flash and somewhere at the bottom, there will be a fingerprint scanner. Apart from this, there are rumors that the handset from the Chinese company will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC just like Samsung upcoming flagship device. There are also speculations that the device will house a large 6-inch edge-to-edge display with thin bezels and a full-screen design having 18:9 aspect ratio. Users need to wait for the MWC, 2018 event to learn the truth. As of now, it is better to keep the hopes high.
