Sony was earlier tipped to launch a bezel-less smartphone, Xperia XZ2 next year. And now, a new tip suggests that the launch of Xperia XZ2 could be followed by another bezel-less phone from Sony, the Xperia A Edge.
The Xperia A Edge comes with similar tri-bezel-less design to that of Xperia XZ2 but it comes with curved edges that could represent the Galaxy S8 which is going to ditch the conventional design Sony is known for.
The phone is completely bezel-less and the only bezel on the phone is located at the top of the display that houses front facing camera, sensors and earpiece. It should not be confused with the notch at the top of display on the iPhone X.
The phone can also be seen with on-screen navigation buttons and the fingerprint sensor is as usual integrated into the power button on the side.
The phone features a metal back panel that houses the dual camera setup situated at the top left corner. Sony’s branding can also be seen located at the centre of the back panel.
